Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our warm team will welcome you at the airport. If you haven't obtained your Entry Visa, we'll assist you. Subsequently, we'll transfer you to a comfortable hotel for well-deserved rest
The following day, immerse yourself in the thrill of the upcoming adventure. We'll handle all necessary paperwork and permits for the expedition. Expect a detailed briefing about the journey. The evening is yours to explore the city or indulge in some shopping.
An early start with breakfast precedes a quick flight to Tumlingtar, surrounded by picturesque valleys. After meeting the team, embark on a 4-5 hour drive to Num, a quaint village in the Koshi region. Overnight stay in tents.
Descending from Num for about 2.5 hours, cross the Neguwa River, navigate through forests, and pass terraced fields. A stop at the Makalu Conservation Area check post for permits is essential.
The trail to Tashi Gaon is gentle, featuring flat areas and ascents. After 4 hours, reach Tashi Gaon, a Sherpa village adorned with prayer flags. Set up camp for the night.
Uphill trek through Rhododendron and pine tree forests leads to Khongma, boasting one tea house. Enjoy meals prepared by our expert team
Climb to the stunning "Kalo Pokhari" lake, then descend to Mumbuk
Traverse an adventurous trail prone to landslides, treated to stunning views of Mt. Tutse and Peak 7.
Ascend to the Lower Base Camp of Mt. Makalu, marveling at peaks like Mt. Makalu. Spend two days acclimatizing and preparing for the expedition
Post-acclimatization, hike to the higher base camp situated at around 5600m.
Embark on the expedition, involving rotations around higher camps for acclimatization. Sherpas will set up fixed ropes for safety. Weather permitting, make the summit push and descend to the base camp.
Ensure eco-friendly practices as you clean up the base camp before heading back to Yangle Kharka.
Retrace steps on an adventurous trail and spend the night in tents at Yangle Kharka
Enjoy more views of landslides on the way back. Reach Khongma and camp for the night.
As you head back, experience downhill trekking to Sheduwa through Tashigaon.
A steep descent followed by an ascent leads to Num. Drive to Khandbari for an overnight stay in a hotel
After a night in Khandbari, breakfast precedes a drive to Tumlingtar airport, followed by a flight back to Kathmandu. Relax at your hotel
A day to relax or explore Thamel. Engage in shopping, fine dining, spa services, orexplore cultural attractions like Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath. Gather for a farewell dinner in the evening
