The Tent Peak Climbing expedition, also known as Tharpu Chuli Climb, is an excellent introduction to Himalayan mountaineering. Starting from the vibrant city of Kathmandu, the journey leads to Pokhara and continues through the scenic trails of the Annapurna Sanctuary. Over the course of 14 days, trekkers pass through iconic villages like Ghandruk and Chhomrong, before reaching the alpine zones of Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp. The climb to Tent Peak (5,663m) is moderately challenging and includes acclimatization and basic climbing preparation at base camp. The return route features a relaxing stop at Jhinu Danda’s hot springs, offering a perfect recovery before heading back to Pokhara and Kathmandu. This climb is best done in spring (March–May) or autumn (September–November) and is ideal for fit trekkers looking to step into mountaineering with professional guidance and scenic rewards.
