Over 29 years of experience, Mr. Ngawa Ngima Sherpa is a visionary adventure tourism pioneer in Nepal. He started his trek in 1994 as a Gosainkunda Trek Sherpa carrying food. He rose from poor origins to flourish in hiking and tourism through devotion and tenacity.

Mr. Sherpa faced challenges like language barriers, but his determination and love for trekking helped him become well-known in Nepal’s trekking business. He is the leader of Sora Adventure Treks & Expeditions, helping local communities and encouraging responsible travel. He strongly believes in creating jobs through tourism, making sure that every visitor helps support the lives of people in Nepal.

Mr. Sherpa believes in the Nepalese idea of “Atithi Devo Bhava,” which means “Our Guest is Our God.” His focus on guests has created strong partnerships that value service more than advertising.
